In addition, he has held executive level roles in companies like A T & T, Sprint, The Mead Corporation, and Pennzoil-Quaker State, which have given him the ability to relate his experience across industries. He has received numerous recognitions and awards for his ability to present information in an interesting and compelling manner, and was named Presenter of the Year through the American Society for Training and Development.

His work in the area of virtual teams comes as a result of his consulting with organizations such as Chase, State Farm Insurance, Boeing, and many others. Dr. Malone has supported leaders and executives in creating strategies that have made virtual teams work and combine the benefits of employee productivity, customer impact, and employee autonomy.
