This presentation is essential for anyone who performs the business analysis function full or part-time, works closely with business analysis professionals, or is looking to pursue BA as a new career—as well as anyone considering pursuing a CBAP™ certification.

Barbara A. Carkenord Bio:

Barbara A. Carkenord has over 20 years of business analysis experience gained in industries such as manufacturing, insurance and banking. A thought-leader of the industry, she possesses detailed knowledge and experience in many structured approaches and methodologies and is a core team member of the IIBA® BABOK® creation committee. Her areas of expertise include business analysis, high-level design, quality assurance and project management.

She earned her MBA from University of Michigan and is a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) recipient. Barb began her career in the information technology area and has experience as a programmer, systems analyst, business analyst and project manager. Barb also published, Seven Steps to Mastering Business Analysis in the fall of 2008.
